About

Biography

I am an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the University of Virginia.

I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics from Wayne State University in 2021 under the supervision of John R. Klein and Vladimir Chernyak.

My academic interests span pure and applied mathematics. My research includes algebraic topology, commutative algebra, topological data analysis, machine learning, and large language models.

Before joining the University of Virginia, I also worked in data science, which continues to influence my interest in connecting mathematical theory with computational and data-driven problems.

Beyond Mathematics

Outside mathematics, I enjoy traveling and exploring new places with my daughter. We particularly enjoy hiking, spending time in nature, and discovering new places.

We also enjoy spending time with our cat, Chloe.

My other interests include exercise, playing guitar, and creating art.
